I relocated to Sydney from Souh Africa in pursuit of career development. Not only did I progress well in that area, but I also developed strong relationships with many people through church fellowships and also got to have new friends ( ohh including my beautiful wife !)
I should say that a passion for arts and literature was always in me from my time at High school. Do I regard myself as a good reader, maybe not . But I enjoy more of storytelling, history and creative expression. As a Christian, I was deeply moved by the contemporary matters underpinning church doctrine and interpretation of scriptures. To me it was very striking and it possibly contributed to the start of my journey to become an author.
Well, that's me in a nutshell. You may wonder what I normally do in my spare time but it's not much really. I guess I am a bit laid-back. I used to be a good soccer player though or should I just say soccer player lest I flatter myself ! Memories from my youth often give me some laughter....that's a conversation for another time.
I enjoy teaching the Word and will continue to do so for as long as I still have strength.
The thought of writing this book lingered at the back of my mind for a long time. After listening to one of Dr Myles Munroe's sermons, bang, I took a pen and paper but did not even know where to start ! I quickly checked online to get an insight on how to become an author and what it takes to be successful on such an endeavour. Fear crept on me from what I read, what a dilemma. The information was quite daunting but I guess this is quite a normal feeeling for most first time authors.
The rest is now history. I will share more of my experiences in writing this book in one of the blogs. I completed the draft manuscript in less than 6 months. Thank God the very first response I got from a traditional publisher who received my proposal was a publication offer. This was a great milestone , those who resort to self publishing of books would understand this better.
One thing led to the other and I see God's grace in every step on this mission.
After publishing the first book “Kingdom of God, Heritage of Mankind", I believe it is now fairly easier to have another piece of work published. This does not make the writing of another book less daunting though.
At times I get ambitious; how about I dig deep into the scriptures in seach of all the typology of Jesus Christ in the Old Testament ? Not about the tabernacle or the sacrificial lambs. Uhmm.. I hope I will not stumble on this one.
Perhaps I will write something abouth Faith . I believe it is one of the most valuable things every Christian needs to have. Unfortunately many confuse Faith with Hope.. this can be a good one too.
Hang on, did I just give you ideas. Ohh well..let us see who gets to write about that first- watch this space !
SPEAKING
I am available to speak about the Kingdom and mission work upon invitation from Churches, Christian communities and various connect groups.
The abundancy of God's grace upon my life was the ultimate silent driving force behind the writing of this book and I am happy to share with many people what the LORD has impressed on my heart . Like Apostle Paul who said in the scriptures 'For I received from the Lord what I also passed on to you' , I believe that the enlightenment I had about the gospel of the Kingdom also carried an assignment.
Feel free to get in touch and we can schedule a convenient time for a visit or virtual session.
